CFEIL is proud to provide learners with funding for meaningful learning experiences. We partner with various community organizations across Canada to support leadership and career development initiatives. CFEIL offers financial support for training and professional development, enabling learners to participate in experiences that truly elevate their skills. Our initiative focuses on individuals who may have struggled to secure employment or have recently experienced setbacks in the job market. We believe in creating a supportive space where every learner has the opportunity to grow, regain momentum, and move confidently toward meaningful work.

Leadership Practicums
​
At CFEIL, we're dedicated to advancing business and leadership education for young professionals and executives. Our innovative approach offers personalized career and leadership coaching with industry mentors of your choice, while also immersing you in real-world projects to enhance your internship project portfolio and create a meaningful impact—all while being compensated for these projects (known as "Leadership Practicums"). Thanks to our employment partners' generosity, the career and leadership coaching aspect is fully subsidized, and mentees are compensated for Leadership Practicums, with up to $500 CAD upon completion of each practicum. The program is designed to accommodate your schedule, allowing you to choose when and how you complete the coaching and practicum, providing a nurturing environment for learning and growth, and fostering a balanced approach to life pursuits.

Leadership Practicum Overview
The 2025 CFEIL Leadership Program offers a dynamic experience that spans 2-3 weeks, structured into two key phases. Initially, participants engage in fully subsidized career coaching, selecting mentors to delve into career options, refine resumes/cover letters, and sharpen interview and career advancement skills. This phase seamlessly transitions into the compensated real-world project phase, known as the leadership practicum.
In the coaching phase, mentees benefit from targeted sessions tailored to their needs, facilitated by mentors and career coaches of their choice. This groundwork ensures a smooth transition and skill integration into the subsequent leadership practicum.
During the leadership practicum, participants immerse themselves in real-world projects designed to activate and enhance their leadership capabilities, adding tangible value to their career portfolios. With projects ranging from 1-2 weeks in duration, mentees have the flexibility to select projects that align with their interests and goals.
Throughout both phases, mentorship is a cornerstone, providing guidance from seasoned entrepreneurs and industry professionals with Fortune 100 backgrounds. CFEIL Leadership Coaching is committed to unlocking mentees' full leadership potential, equipping them with practical skills, experiences, and a deeper understanding of their pivotal role in driving success within and beyond the program.
Upon completion, participants emerge not only with theoretical knowledge but also with hands-on experience, poised to make meaningful contributions in their professional journeys.

Compensation: Recognizing the value of your contributions, this opportunity includes full coaching subsidies, courtesy of our employment partners, along with compensation for the real-world project phase.
